POSITION

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diplomaor G.E.D.
• Associate Degreeinarelatedfieldfromanaccreditedcollegeoruniversityispreferred.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Cooperatingwiththe Districtstaffinthetotalefforttobringaboutqualityeducationforstudentsthroughthe use of instructional technology.
• Assistinginplanning,coordinatingandimplementinginstructionaltechnologyapplicationsconsistentwith established projectobjectivesand activities.
• Providingon-goingin-servicetoteachers,administrator sand Para-professionalsintheuseofinstructional technology and the use of hardware applications.
• Troubleshootshardwareandsoftwaretoidentifycomputermalfunctions.
• Maintainstechnologyinventoryrecordsandpaperwork.
• Coordinatingeffortstoassistschoolsintheidentification,selection,acquisition,useandevaluationofcomputer hardware and appropriate software.
• Establishingandmaintainingtechnologyresourcesappropriateforclassroomuse.
• Attendingrequiredlocal,stateandothermeetings/workshops/conferencesforthepurposeofsharingand collecting information gained with the district schools.
• Performsotherjobrelateddutiesasrequired.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Abilitytocommunicateeffectivelyinbothwrittenandoralformswithalllevelsofmanagement,bothinternaland external to the district.
• Abilitytoestablishandmaintaineffectiveworkingrelationshipsbothinternalandexternaltothedistrict.
• Abilitytoorganizespecialprogramsforassignedcampus.
• Abilitytousecomputerincludingsoftware,databaseusedbythedistrict,spreadsheetandwordprocessing software, calculator, copy machine and telephone.
• Abilitytoanalyzedata
• Abilitytouseeffectiveinterviewtechniques,effectivepublicspeakingskills,and problem-solving skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
