Job Overview:

This role is part of the US DBA Team responsible for the administration, support, and optimization of SQL Server, Azure Data Services, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and enterprise data platforms.

Essential Qualifications and

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field7+ years of hands-on SQL Server DBA experience supporting production systems (Database Administration experience)

Experience with SSRS, SSIS, Azure SQL, and Microsoft Fabric Experience administering Power BI Service and enterprise reporting platforms

Must have knowledge of SQL Server performance tuning, HA/DR, Always On, clustering, replication, backup, and recovery

Experience with schema design, schema migration, data conversion, and database performance optimization

Strong knowledge of AI capabilities, tools, and usage trends

Proficiency in T-SQL and Power Shell or Python scripting (writing code if needed)

Experience with data integration, data warehousing, and analytics platforms

Familiarity with third-party RDBMS and No

SQL technologies

Strong communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

Ability to support U.S. Central Time business hours and work effectively both independently and within a team

PreferredSQL, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Database offerings, Power BI related certification

Experience leading data platform, analytics, and cloud modernization projects

Perform database administration including installation, configuration, monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting, SOX compliance, audits, backups, recovery, patching, and upgrades for on-premises and Azure SQL environments

Manage Development, Test, QA, and Production databases and implement enhancements to meet business needs

Monitor database health, availability, capacity, reliability, and performance

Configure and support Always On, clustering, replication, backup, and disaster recovery solutions

Execute database changes through established change management processes

Support database schema design, migration, data conversion, and performance optimization

Collaborate with application teams, vendors, and business users to resolve database-related issues

Administer and support Microsoft Fabric capacities, work spaces, lake houses, warehouses, pipelines, and security

Design, develop, and support data ingestion and ETL/ELT processes using Fabric Support Fabric deployments and promotions across environments

Administer gateways, datasets, work spaces, refresh schedules, and security

Support enterprise reporting, dashboards, analytics solutions, and data governance

Support AI initiatives and use modern AI tools for innovation and productivity Participate in data modernization, cloud migration, and analytics projects

Provide after-hours support and maintenance as required
