Senior Principal, Data & AI Go-To-Market

We are seeking a Senior Principal, Data & AI Go To Market to accelerate growth across the Houston market and broader TOLA (Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas) region. This is a senior, client-facing growth role for an AI-forward leader who can translate deep Data & AI expertise into compelling client conversations, differentiated solutions, and new business opportunities. The ideal candidate is Houston-based and highly engaged in the local market;

they bring a strong point of view on the rapidly evolving AI landscape and can confidently engage executives and technical leaders alike to assist opportunities surfaced by sales, client, and account teams, and in addition to creating follow-on demand through relationships and delivery insight. This role reports to the Director or Senior Director of Data & AI Go-To-Market for TOLA.What

You'll Do
* Lead Data & AI technical solutioning:
Shape architectures and roadmaps across AI engineering, data modernization, Data & AI governance, conversational BI, and Data & AI strategy.
* Qualify and solution opportunities:
Partner with client teams and sellers on discovery, executive conversations, workshops, RFPs, and multi-capability solution design.
* Generate account-embedded demand:
Create follow-on opportunities through client relationships, delivery insight, and account collaboration; use selective thought leadership and events.
* Deliver billable outcomes:
Maintain 65% utilization (approximately 30 hours per week) through billable client delivery.
* Drive revenue impact:
Meet revenue contribution target by helping close sales revenue, originating deals, and managing delivery revenue in a leader capacity.
* Build GTM capability:
Contribute reusable assets, market insight, and capability input to Data & AI Go-To-Market.
* Serve Houston and TOLA:
Work from Houston office three days weekly; client site as needed; travel up to 30% annually across Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas.

What You Bring
* 8+ years of relevant experience:
Including 5+ years in consulting across Data, AI, and Analytics.
* Proven consulting sales-motion experience:
Guide Data & AI opportunities from discovery through solution design and delivery mobilization.
* Broad Data & AI solutioning fluency: AI engineering, modernization, governance, conversational BI, and Data & AI strategy; strong AI-forward mindset.
* Experience with one of Azure, AWS, or GCP for client solutioning.
* Modern data platform experience:

Experience with Databricks or Snowflake; recommend practical platform approaches.
* Bring frontier-AI capabilities from organizations such as OpenAI and Anthropic to client solutions.
* Executive presence and collaboration:
Engage senior client stakeholders and technical audiences across AI engineering, modernization, governance, conversational BI, and Data & AI strategy.
* Houston-based market commitment:
Live near Slalom Houston office or be willing to relocate to Houston.
