Data Analyst I:
On behalf of our technology client, Procom is searching for a Data Analyst I for a permanent role. This position is onsite at our client’s Houston, Texas office.

Job Description:

The Data Analyst I will play a crucial role in coordinating changes to computer databases, testing, and implementing databases by applying knowledge of database management systems. The position focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale enterprise data ETL processes to support business data requirements and strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Work with senior management, technical, and client teams to determine data requirements and business data implementation approaches

• Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of databases to management systems

• Design, implement, automate, and maintain large-scale enterprise data ETL processes

• Modify existing databases and database management systems or direct programmers and analysts to make changes

• Test programs or databases, correct errors, and make necessary modifications

Mandatory

Skills:

• Experience with database technologies

• Knowledge of the ETL process

• Knowledge of at least one scripting language

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Demonstrated history of success

• Desire to work with data and help businesses make better data-driven decisions

Nice-to-Have

Skills:

• Accessible approach to teamwork

• Experience in advanced data manipulation

• Familiarity with storage and analysis strategies

• Previous experience in a similar role

• Knowledge of additional database management systems
