Position: Manager, Governance, Risk & Compliance
Compensation: $150,000 - $190,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Houston, Texas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Manager, Governance, Risk & Compliance to join their team!
This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on GRC leader who enjoys building strong security and compliance programs across a collaborative enterprise environment. In this role, you'll help shape policies, strengthen risk management practices, and support a business that operates in a complex, highly regulated industry.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Lead Governance, Risk, and Compliance initiatives across IT and OT environments
- Develop and improve policies, standards, and control frameworks
- Conduct risk assessments and guide risk treatment decisions
- Support third-party risk management activities
- Partner with security, infrastructure, and cloud teams
- Map controls to frameworks such as NIST and ISO standards
- Drive continuous compliance improvements and audit readiness
- Manage a small team and contractor support
- Track regulatory requirements and compliance obligations
Required Qualifications &
Experience:
- 6+ years of experience in GRC or related security leadership roles
- Experience managing or leading a team
- Background in risk assessments and compliance programs
- Strong understanding of IT and OT security environments
- Experience working cross-functionally with technical teams
- Knowledge of third-party risk management practices
- Ability to build and improve governance processes
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Nice to Have
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in midstream, pipeline, or energy environments
- Familiarity with TSA, MTSA, CER, or similar regulations
- Working knowledge of GRC tools such as Archer or Workiva
- Experience with audit methodologies and SOX controls
- Knowledge of ITIL and change management practices
- Exposure to NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, or IEC 62443
- Certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CGEIT, AAIA, or CISSP
- Experience with AI governance or emerging risk frameworks
