Systems Analyst V (SAP-EAM Functional)
Assignment Details Duration: 12-month contract

Location:

Onsite 5 days/week, Houston, TX Essential Duties/Responsibilities Provide hands-on functional configuration and design for SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM, PM/SM, and PS)
Own the full lifecycle implementation of SAP EAM: requirements gathering, business workshops, gap analysis, blueprinting, design, configuration, testing, cutover, data migration, go-live, training, and post-go-live support

Contribute to the implementation and execution of SAP EAM/Plant Maintenance processes: assess the current state, identify customer requirements, and define the future state or business solution

Turn detailed requirements into complete systems design documents and implement them in SAP Capture business capability requirements, functional requirements, and expected service levels from the business unit, and create EAM solutions that map to an actionable business-IT roadmap (a long-range plan identifying the IT investments in applications and infrastructure needed to support business objectives)
Support business unit leadership in identifying opportunities for emerging technologies with the EAM architect, and advise clients on how new technologies affect their existing technical and information system environments

Keep business and functional requirements intact through development and configuration

Maintain a strong understanding of the technology needs and solutions of the business units

Act as liaison between the client, vendors, project management, and the technical team on questions, issues, and revisions to the solution architecture

Manage engagement risk and economics, including planning and budgeting, accounts receivable, deliverable content, and buy-in of proposed solutions from business owners

Guide and validate complex fit/gap analysis and design decisions, ensuring deviations from out-of-the-box functionality have sufficient business justification and positive value

Provide consulting on both new implementations and existing support projects

Provide ad hoc training and user support as required

Work self-directed and independently, and mentor more junior team members as a subject matter expert

Your Background Includes
15+ years of experience designing, customizing, testing, implementing, and managing enterprise asset management solutions and systems

Experience in at least 2 full-cycle greenfield or brownfield SAP implementations

Experience converting new acquisitions or mergers into current platforms

Experience with current technology implementation patterns

Strong, persuasive communication and presentation skills, able to explain technical ideas verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical peers

Experience and knowledge of integrating SAP enterprise modules (e.g., CRM, MM, FI) and third-party applications
