Cyber Security Analyst

Our client is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on security professional who enjoys strengthening enterprise security operations and driving cybersecurity initiatives within a Microsoft-focused environment.

• Perform proactive threat hunting, threat detection, and security monitoring activities
• Investigate, analyze, and respond to security incidents and alerts
• Leverage Microsoft security technologies to identify and mitigate security risks
• Support and optimize MS Defender Services
• Drive remediation efforts for vulnerabilities, security findings, and operational backlog items
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and engineering teams to improve overall security posture
• Partner with third-party security providers to enhance incident response and security operations
• Develop recommendations to improve security controls, monitoring capabilities, and cybersecurity maturity
• Participate in an on-call rotation supporting security operations
• Communicate findings, risks, and recommendations to both technical and business stakeholders

• 3-5+ years of experience in Security Operations, Incident Response, Threat Hunting, Threat Detection, or Security Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft security technologies
• Experience investigating security incidents and driving remediation efforts
• Deep understanding of security operations and threat detection best practices
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
