The OpportunityWe're partnering with a global AI technology innovator pushing the boundaries of speech recognition, deep learning, and next-generation voice intelligence.
We're seeking an exceptional Director of AI Research to lead breakthrough research in speech AI, develop advanced neural architectures, and shape intelligent systems used at global scale.
This isn't about maintaining yesterday's technology. It's about inventing what's next.
What You'll Do- Pioneer Speech AI: Lead research in end-to-end ASR, streaming speech recognition, and advanced neural speech models.
- Advance AI Architectures: Develop and optimize Conformer, RNN-T, Transformer, CTC, and emerging speech architectures.
- Solve Complex Challenges: Improve speech accuracy, latency, multilingual capabilities, and performance in real-world environments.
- Drive Innovation: Explore speech foundation models, embeddings, and next-generation speech-to-speech technologies.
- Lead Research: Guide talented scientists, influence technical strategy, and translate breakthrough research into production-ready AI.
- Must Have: Proven hands-on experience developing and training modern end-to-end ASR models.
- Deep expertise in speech recognition, deep learning, and neural network architectures.
- Strong experience with Conformer, RNN-T, Transformer-based ASR, or CTC.
- Experience with streaming, real-time, or low-latency speech recognition systems.
- Strong knowledge of multilingual ASR, acoustic modeling, and speech representation learning.
- Demonstrated ability to lead research initiatives and drive technical innovation.
Bonus: Experience with speech foundation models, self-supervised learning, multimodal AI, or influential research publications.
