SUMMARY
Responsible for providing customer service and overall service of assigned customers and/or policies, soliciting new business on existing accounts and supporting Producer‑led new business efforts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Supports Producer in developing new business opportunities for existing clients and prospects.
- Analyzes certificate, endorsement, and audit requests.
- Initiates necessary corrections to ensure accuracy of dates, coverage, signatures, commission, premium, attachments, etc.
- Facilitates flow of information from agents and underwriters, whether to internal teams and/or clients.
- Initiates cancellation and non‑renewal notices timely according to statutory and contractual requirements.
- Responds promptly to all requests from internal team, (re) insurers or clients regarding account servicing issues.
- Interacts regularly with brokers, clients, and underwriters regarding certificates; responding to queries and concerns with a prompt resolution.
- Provides and/or assists with quotations and binders for new business, renewals and endorsements.
- Proactively initiates and coordinates renewal activity on assigned accounts.
- Reviews client accounting history, responds to accounting inquiries, corrects discrepancies, and contacts client on receivable collections.
- Provides technical guidance to staff assisting with client needs or procedural issues.
- Notifies brokers of pertinent information related to client retention.
- Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information).
- Other duties as assigned.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ten (10) or more years related work experience.
- Valid insurance license.
- Must continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal.
- Encouraged to complete Career Path requirements as communicated by supervisor.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork.
- Excellent customer service skills, including telephone and listening skills.
- Good leadership, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
