Job Summary

Responsible for providing the highest level of customer service to Commercial Lines Accounts. This includes providing prompt, accurate, and courteous service to agency clients, working independently and collaboratively with clients, producers, and company representatives to design and execute comprehensive insurance programs tailored to insureds' needs. Developing professional rapport with clients, company representatives, and business associates by maintaining knowledge of commercial lines coverage and underwriting guidelines.

Maintaining security and client confidentiality, and encouraging a positive work environment.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Explore, create, execute, and review all information necessary to design and implement appropriate insurance programs for new and renewing clients, following agency and underwriting guidelines.
  • Manage and maintain the assigned book of business, ensuring timely renewal processes to protect client interests, agency E&O exposure, and carrier relationships.
  • Accurately represent insureds to carrier partners according to submission standards.
  • Prepare proposals and summaries of insurance, collaborate with producers to present proposals to clients, and obtain signatures and warranties to secure coverage.
  • Maintain and update agency management systems with all required information.
  • Prepare summaries of insurance for review with producers and clients.
  • Prioritize and manage workflow to ensure responsibilities are handled efficiently and accurately.
  • Collaborate with producers, associates, and team members, providing technical support to assist clients and achieve agency goals.
  • Stay informed about industry, state, and federal regulations, as well as carrier underwriting requirements.
  • Educate clients on coverages, exclusions, and exposures.
  • Represent the agency in handling complaints and concerns, fostering amicable relationships with clients and carriers.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management to support organizational goals.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Willingness to work beyond standard office hours as needed for client meetings, deadlines, and training


Education and Special Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate's degree or higher preferred
  • Property & casualty license
  • Three to five years of property & casualty marketing experience preferred
  • Awareness of E&O exposure and prevention techniques
