Energy Project Finance & Development Associate (Mid-Senior Level)
Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, offers a dynamic full‑time opportunity for a mid‑senior level Associate in our Energy Project Finance & Development Practice. The role is location flexible and includes competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.
Job Requirements- Significant experience in energy project development, M&A and project finance transactions involving sponsors, investors, developers, suppliers, and/or lenders.
- Experience with offtake agreements, interconnection agreements and other project agreements, and familiarity with energy regulation, project real property and permitting.
- Ability to draft primary and ancillary transaction documents (purchase and sale agreements, investment agreements, financing agreements, joint venture agreements).
- Proficient in performing and managing complex diligence, transaction management, supervising and guiding junior associates and internal specialist teams, client interaction, and producing high‑quality work product.
- Willingness to work the hours expected of a fast‑paced, busy practice.
- Admission to one or more state bars is required.
- Boston: $240,000 – $390,000 per year
- Minneapolis: $225,000 – $260,000 per year
- New York City: $260,000 – $440,000 per year
- Washington, DC: $260,000 – $380,000 per year
Salary will be determined based upon education, experience, job‑related factors permitted by law, internal equity, and market data. Full‑time employees may be eligible for discretionary bonus, health insurance (including optional HSA), short‑term and long‑term disability, dental, vision, life, Health and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401(k), vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program.
