Energy Project Finance & Development Associate (Mid-Senior Level)

Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, offers a dynamic full‑time opportunity for a mid‑senior level Associate in our Energy Project Finance & Development Practice. The role is location flexible and includes competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

• Significant experience in energy project development, M&A and project finance transactions involving sponsors, investors, developers, suppliers, and/or lenders.
• Experience with offtake agreements, interconnection agreements and other project agreements, and familiarity with energy regulation, project real property and permitting.
• Ability to draft primary and ancillary transaction documents (purchase and sale agreements, investment agreements, financing agreements, joint venture agreements).
• Proficient in performing and managing complex diligence, transaction management, supervising and guiding junior associates and internal specialist teams, client interaction, and producing high‑quality work product.
• Willingness to work the hours expected of a fast‑paced, busy practice.
• Admission to one or more state bars is required.

• Boston: $240,000 – $390,000 per year
• Minneapolis: $225,000 – $260,000 per year
• New York City: $260,000 – $440,000 per year
• Washington, DC: $260,000 – $380,000 per year

Salary will be determined based upon education, experience, job‑related factors permitted by law, internal equity, and market data.
