Senior Principal – Energy Transition Projects Group (Houston)

Lateral Link is assisting a prestigious international law firm in Houston with an unposted search for a mid‑to‑senior‑level attorney. This is a unique opportunity to work in a very busy and dynamic office providing guidance on a full spectrum of energy transactional work across the globe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting and negotiating a broad range of infrastructure contracts, such as offtake, supply, procurement, operating and construction agreements across the energy transition sector (CCUS, hydrogen, renewable fuels, etc.).
• Providing guidance on a full spectrum of energy transactional work across the globe.

Required Qualifications:

• Active license to practice law.
• Law degree from a top‑25 law school with excellent academic credentials.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in energy transition and infrastructure project work.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CCUS, hydrogen, renewable fuels.

Location:

Houston, TX | Salary: $130,000–$170,000
