Base pay range: $90,000 – $110,000 per year.

A busy civil litigation practice in Houston, TX is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join its team and support a growing plaintiff‑focused docket. In this role, you will work closely with senior attorneys on a mix of pre‑litigation and litigation matters, including depositions, mediations, drafting pleadings, negotiations, and trial preparation. This position offers hands‑on experience, early responsibility, and the opportunity to build strong litigation skills in a fast‑paced, supportive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a high-volume plaintiff‑side docket in collaboration with senior attorneys.
  • Participate in depositions, mediations, and direct settlement negotiations.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Assist with trial preparation and courtroom strategy.
  • Attend periodic in‑office meetings and court appearances as required.
  • Strengthen litigation skills while receiving ongoing mentorship and training.
Requirements
  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the Texas State Bar.
  • 0‑3 years of legal experience (plaintiff‑side personal injury preferred but not required).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to excel in a fast‑paced, high‑volume work environment.
  • Detail‑oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Collaborative mindset and positive attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
