Vice President of Corporate Compliance

As the Vice President of Corporate Compliance, you will protect the Firm by serving as the point of coordination and oversight for compliance-sensitive communications, documentation, and Firm-wide governance. You will act as the gatekeeper for materials that represent CAZ externally or may elevate risk internally. This includes the review of contracts, NDAs, leases, marketing collateral, social media content, and official correspondence.

You will collaborate with the Chairman’s Office, Marketing Team, Investment Team, internal Legal Team, and outside counsel to ensure precision, clarity, and alignment with regulatory and Firm standards. You will also train and equip our Team to understand and uphold compliance expectations across all functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and approve all external-facing Firm materials
  • Review legal and contractual documents including NDAs, leases, agreements, and amendments
  • Oversee documentation governance systems
  • Liaise with internal Legal and outside counsel
  • Support strategic Firm transactions
  • Provide internal education on compliance standards
  • Monitor regulatory developments
  • Build scalable compliance processes using Asana
  • Ensure communications adhere to Firm standards
Success Metrics
  • Ability to mitigate compliance and reputational risk
  • Proactive oversight of documentation workflows
  • Accuracy and timeliness in reviews of documentation and collateral
  • Ability to maintain operational rigor in fast-paced environments
  • Strong organization and process execution
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required; legal background preferred but not required
  • 4–6+ years in compliance oversight, documentation review, or governance
  • Understanding of private fund or registered fund compliance standards is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and written communication
  • Ability to collaborate across Teams and with counsel
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office;
    Proficiency in Asana and artificial intelligence-based tools preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment under strict deadlines

  • Base salary will be commensurate with experience
