Construction and Insurance Attorney

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction and Insurance Coverage Attorney with 5+ years of litigation experience to join our plaintiff-side practice. This role is ideal for an attorney passionate about holding insurance companies accountable and handling complex construction and insurance coverage disputes. The position is plaintiff-only, representing policyholders in matters involving denied or underpaid insurance claims, and offers the opportunity to play an integral role within a collaborative litigation team.

• Handle all phases of litigation from case assessment and filing through discovery, motions practice, and trial.
• Draft and argue motions, including motions for summary judgment and motions to compel.
• Conduct and defend depositions of fact witnesses, experts, and corporate representatives.
• Manage an active caseload with a high level of independence.
• Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals to develop effective litigation strategies.
• Communicate directly with clients, providing updates and strategic guidance.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience with a focus on insurance coverage and/or construction law.
• Commercial litigation experience is a plus.
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong strategic thinking abilities.
• Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
