Civil Litigation Attorney

A highly regarded litigation practice is seeking an experienced associate to join its Houston office. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of civil litigation experience, with a strong background in maritime and/or trucking defense matters.

• Manage all phases of litigation, from initial pleadings through trial preparation

• Handle discovery, depositions, motion practice, and court appearances

• Work directly with clients to provide strategic legal advice and defense strategies

• Collaborate with a team of skilled litigators in a supportive environment

• JD from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials

• 5+ years of civil litigation experience (maritime and/or trucking defense preferred)

• Strong research, writing, and courtroom skills

• Team-oriented, with excellent communication and client service skills
