About the job Counsel - Employment & Labor
Our client, a prestigious Am Law 100 firm, is seeking Counsel to join their Labor and Employment team in Texas! This team is highly regarded for its expertise in employment litigation and advisory services, providing strategic legal counsel to a wide range of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on labor and employment matters, including compliance with federal and state statutes.
- Handle adversary proceedings and litigate cases in both state and federal courts.
- Prepare and review employment-related documents, including manuals and policies.
- Provide legal counseling and advice directly to clients on employment-related issues.
- Manage high-volume caseloads while ensuring attention to detail and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Active member in good standing with the Texas State Bar.
- Minimum of 3+ years of labor and employment law experience.
- Strong background in Texas employment litigation, advice, and counseling.
- Significant experience with adversary proceedings, including trials (preferred).
- Familiarity with employment manuals and employment-related documents.
- Annual bonus opportunities.
