Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled associate or counsel to join our growing Employment & Labor practice
. The ideal candidate will have experience in Texas employment litigation, advice, and counseling
.

Responsibilities
  • Performing legal research and drafting motions, pleadings, and dispositive motions
  • Representing clients in court appearances and arbitration proceedings
  • Drafting and responding to discovery and meet-and-confer letters
  • Defending individual and class action wage and hour claims (state and federal)
  • Advising clients on federal and state employment statutes, regulations, and compliance obligations
  • Responding to government investigations and inquiries
  • Providing day-to-day advice on employment manuals and workplace policies
РаKey Requirements
  • 3–4 years of experience in labor and employment law
  • Strong background in Texas employment litigation and counseling
  • Experience handling adversary proceedings in both state and federal courts
  • Trial experience preferred
  • Familiarity with employment manuals, policies, and related documentation
  • Active membership and good standing with the Texas Bar

  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and proactive problem-solving approach
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
