Join a Growing Litigation Team Defending the Transportation Industry We are seeking a motivated and talented Associate Attorney with 2–4 years of litigation experience to join our dynamic defense practice. This is an exceptional opportunity for an attorney looking to gain hands-on litigation experience, work directly with experienced trial attorneys, and take ownership of a diverse and challenging caseload.

Our practice focuses on defending individuals, businesses, and insurance carriers involved in transportation-related claims and catastrophic loss matters. The successful candidate will play a key role in all phases of litigation while developing the skills necessary to become a trusted advocate and trial lawyer.

Practice Areas The Associate Attorney will represent clients in a wide range of transportation and personal injury defense matters, including:

Automobile accidents

Commercial trucking and tractor-trailer collisions

Bus accidents

Crane and construction equipment incidents

Dump truck and heavy vehicle accidents

Catastrophic injury claims

Wrongful death and fatality cases

Motor vehicle accident (MVA) litigation

Insurance defense matters

Key Responsibilities Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution.

Conduct factual investigations and analyze accident-related evidence.

Assess liability, damages, and risk exposure.

Develop and implement defense strategies tailored to each case.

Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal memoranda.

Conduct legal research and prepare case analyses.

Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, mediations, and court appearances.

Assist with trial preparation and trial proceedings.

Communicate regularly with clients, insurance representatives, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel.

Participate in case strategy meetings and settlement negotiations.

Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with deadlines and litigation requirements.

Qualifications Required Juris  Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
2–4 years of litigation experience.

Strong legal writing, analytical, and research skills.

Excellent oral advocacy and communication abilities.

Ability to independently manage multiple matters and deadlines.

Preferred Insurance defense experience.

Transportation or trucking litigation experience.

Deposition, mediation, and courtroom experience.

Experience handling catastrophic injury or wrongful death matters.

Familiarity with complex liability investigations and accident reconstruction issues.
