The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in litigation and employment law, along with experience handling commercial agreements and regulatory matters. This is an opportunity for a business-minded attorney who enjoys working cross-functionally, managing diverse legal issues, and contributing to the organization’s broader business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day legal guidance on operational matters, commercial activities, and compliance-related issues.
  • Advise on employment matters, including employee relations, performance management, terminations, and internal investigations.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of employment policies, procedures, and compliance initiatives.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders on business transactions and strategic initiatives.
  • Advise on data privacy, regulatory requirements, and related compliance matters.
  • Manage litigation and other legal claims, including coordinating with outside counsel and monitoring legal costs.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including vendor, service, technology, licensing, and real estate agreements.
  • Support enterprise risk management initiatives and help identify and mitigate potential legal exposure.
  • Review regulatory documents and filings as needed.
  • Assist with special projects and other legal matters as they arise.
Qualifications
  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar;
    Texas admission preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree required; a business-related degree is a plus.
  • Approximately 4–6 years of legal experience in a law firm or in-house environment.
  • Strong background in litigation, employment law, and commercial contract matters.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced business environment.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice.
