Salary: $55,000–$65,000
Hands-on air freight operations role with Air & Ocean capability. Cargo Wise required. Air freight must be the majority of recent experience — not procurement and not primarily ocean. Strong sea import experience is required in addition to air.
Join a people-first global freight forwarder recognized for 10+ years as a Top Company for well-being, stability, and career growth. You'll work across a 35+ country network on time-critical and complex shipments, with flexible onsite, hybrid, or remote models, internal mobility, and ongoing training and certifications. The culture is built around empowered operators, fast decision-making, and strong client service.
Responsibilities- Manage air freight shipments A–Z from origin to final delivery.
- Book cargo, coordinate pickups, prepare documentation, follow up with airlines, track, arrange delivery, and bill.
- Support sea import operations — ISF/AMS filings, ocean documentation, terminal and intermodal coordination, and exception handling.
- Work with airlines, ocean carriers, truckers, terminals, customers, and internal offices on bookings, pickups, docs, and cargo recovery.
- Monitor milestones, flag delays/exceptions early, and fix issues to hold service levels.
- Keep documentation, system updates, costs, and final billing accurate.
- Support air freight quotes by checking routing, transit times, capacity, and operational feasibility.
- Handle priority, bonded, FTZ, cross-border, and other complex shipments with tight follow-up through the full lifecycle.
- 5–10 years of hands-on Air & Sea Freight Operations experience in freight forwarding.
- Air freight must be the majority of recent experience (air export and/or air import). Not procurement. Not primarily ocean.
- Strong Sea Import Operations experience, ideally with a minimum 70% Imports / 30% Exports ratio on the ocean side.
- Cargo Wise experience (must-have).
- Knowledge of AES, TSA requirements, and air freight documentation.
- Knowledge and/or certifications in AMS, ISF, FMC, and IMDG.
- Knowledge and experience with Bonded Freight, FTZ, and Cross-Border operations.
- Strong network and operational experience with terminals and intermodal vendors.
- Able to run multiple shipments, priorities, and urgent requests independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving.
- Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Aerospace or time-critical / AOG shipments.
- Support of multiple internal offices or internal customers.
- Hazmat / DG handling across air and ocean.
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance
- 401(k)
- Paid time off and paid holidays
