Procurement Coordinator

Responsible for the procurement of material requisitions, goods, and services. Approves and qualifies vendors, obtains quotations, examines bids and makes awards. Develops sources and evaluates vendor reliability. Creates and manages manufacturing schedules to ensure that raw materials arrive in a timely manner to fulfill manufacturing requirements.

• Process purchase requisitions for accuracy and compliance.
• Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring correct pricing, quantities, and terms.
• Track shipments and delivery timelines, addressing delays or discrepancies.
• Maintain procurement documentation, including contracts, supplier records, and audit‑ready files.
• Support cross‑functional teams (e.g., finance, operations, IT) with procurement‑related tasks.
• Assist with invoice reconciliation to resolve billing discrepancies.

Education:

High school diploma minimum; business or supply chain degree preferred

Experience:

5+ years in purchasing or related roles

Technical skills:
Microsoft Office, procurement systems (e.g., Oracle, COUPA), SAP

Core competencies:

Analytical skills, attention to detail, negotiation, supplier management, multitasking
