Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for an opportunity to lead ground-up commercial projects across K-12, Healthcare, Community, and Religious sectors? A well-established General Contractor in Houston is seeking a skilled PM to join their growing team.

About the Company

This reputable General Contractor specializes in ground-up commercial construction, with a strong focus on K-12 schools, healthcare facilities, community centers, and religious buildings. They also handle select renovation projects, but their expertise lies in delivering complex new builds. With a steady pipeline of work, they are looking for a strong leader to manage projects from pre-construction to completion.

Responsibilities

Oversee full project lifecycle – from planning and budgeting to execution and closeout

Manage ground-up commercial projects across K-12, Healthcare, Community, and Religious sectors

Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards

Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to keep projects on track

Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and contracts

Lead weekly project meetings and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders

Ensure strict compliance with OSHA 30 safety standards and local building codes

Oversee subcontractor selection, procurement, and material management

Handle change orders, RFIs, and job site challenges effectively

Maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and long-term success

The Ideal Candidate

5+ years of experience managing ground-up commercial projects

Proven success delivering projects in K-12, Healthcare, Community, and Religious sectors

Strong budgeting, scheduling, and contract management skills

Excellent leadership and subcontractor management experience

Strong tenure – no frequent job changes

OSHA 30 certification preferred

Proficient in Procore, Bluebeam, and project scheduling software
