Marketing Operations Director

Blue Byrd is a fast-growing strategic marketing agency that partners with clients to drive revenue growth. We are looking for a Marketing Operations Director to lead and manage our execution team, ensuring our campaigns deliver results while providing clear strategic oversight.

The Marketing Operations Director will be responsible for managing a team of marketing professionals focused on executing demand generation campaigns for Blue Byrd’s clients. You will provide strategic oversight, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and offer leadership in setting the direction for campaigns, marketing automation, and SEO strategies. While your role will focus on guiding the team, you'll also provide high-level insight, training, and guidance into campaign strategies to ensure maximum impact.

Team Leadership:
Provide leadership and oversight to a team of marketing professionals. Your focus will be on managing the team's performance, ensuring they meet client objectives, and keeping them aligned with broader marketing strategies.

Campaign Direction:
Offer strategic insight into the direction and focus of multi-channel digital marketing campaigns (email, social media, content marketing, paid advertising). Ensure campaigns are aligned with client goals and drive results.

Content/SEO Strategy:
Oversee SEO strategies at a high level, providing guidance to ensure SEO efforts contribute to demand generation goals. Content strategy and editorial calendar delivery.

Marketing Automation & CRM:
Provide leadership on the use of Hub Spot and other marketing automation tools. Guide the team in optimizing these platforms to improve lead nurturing and campaign tracking. Implementation on new websites or platforms to enhance sales and marketing integration.

Quality Control:
Ensure the quality and consistency of all marketing deliverables, including content, ad copy, and reporting. Implement high-level oversight to maintain alignment with client and business objectives.

Budget Oversight:
Oversee the management of campaign budgets, ensuring they remain on target and do not exceed limits. Provide high-level approvals and accountability for financial management across all client campaigns.

Process Improvement:
Drive continuous improvement in demand generation processes, offering insights to enhance workflows, reporting, and team efficiency.

Strategic Leadership & Training:
Provide thought leadership on emerging trends and best practices, ensuring that Blue Byrd’s strategies remain cutting-edge and effective. Provide team trainings when necessary to make sure the team is aware of new trends and how to execute them properly for clients.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with other leaders to align marketing strategies with sales objectives, ensuring that demand generation efforts contribute to overall business success.

Strong experience in marketing operations, demand generation, or digital marketing leadership roles.

• 10-12 years of marketing experience, management experience, preferably at an agency or with an in-house team.
• Demonstrated success managing high-performing teams and providing strategic oversight.
• Proficiency in marketing automation (Hub Spot preferred), CRM systems, and SEO strategy at a leadership level.
• Strong ability to translate business goals into effective marketing strategies.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a focus on team development.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay focused on high-level objectives.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (preferred).
