As the Manager of Operational Excellence, you will join a talented and hardworking Workforce Solutions Financial Aid Payment Office team dedicated to accurate and timely payments of hundreds of millions of dollars to over 2,000 vendors. Reporting to the Payment Office Director, the Manager of Operational Excellence collaborates with business units, data, information technology, and quality assurance team members to map workflows, automate and improve processes, to ensure accurate, timely vendor payments across multiple business units.
The Manager leads a small team focused on quality assurance, training, process improvement and automation. The group supports FAPO business unit leaders in creating compliant, efficient, processes in a fast-paced, high-volume, multiple automation system environment.
- Workflows that maximize automation opportunities for efficiency and accuracy
- Clearly documented, accessible processes and procedures that enable staff to understand how work is done
- Clearly organized and well maintained internal and external Sharepoint sites used by teams to provide information
- Clean Audits reports from external reviews of FAPO operations

-5 years experience in process improvement, business analyst, or related position. Experience in a financial or accounting environment is highly desirable.

Required /Preferred Qualifications Education
HS diploma required. Bachelor’s degree from 4-yr University preferred.
Licenses and CertificationsCertification in Lean, Six Sigma, Rapid Process Improvement or other process management and improvement tools preferred but not required.
