Regional Leasing Manager – Fairstead

Responsibilities- Lead all compliance‑related leasing activities across assigned properties, ensuring full adherence to HUD, Section 8 (50059), LIHTC TIC, and other regulatory program guidelines.
- Oversee applicant eligibility verification, income certification accuracy, waitlist management, and file preparation.
- Regularly audit leasing files and provide corrective guidance to site teams before formal inspections.
- Coordinate with Compliance staff to prepare for state, federal, lender, and investor audits.
- Ensure properties achieve and maintain satisfactory ratings on all compliance reviews.
- Provide training to Community Managers and Assistant Managers on compliance processes, documentation standards, and regulatory updates.
- Partner with Community Managers to monitor leasing velocity, occupancy, and renewal performance.
- Implement corrective strategies when performance gaps arise.
- Travel to properties to support on‑site leasing readiness, eligibility review, and compliance training.
- Support the development and execution of property‑specific marketing plans in alignment with compliance requirements.
- Review marketing calendars and promotional efforts to ensure compliance with fair housing and program restrictions.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual leasing and compliance reports for leadership.

- Sign‑on bonus: $5,000.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in affordable housing compliance and leasing (HUD/Tax Credit).
- COS certification strongly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of HUD, Section 8, LIHTC, and other affordable housing regulatory programs.
- Proven experience reviewing eligibility, income certifications, and compliance documentation.
- Prior experience supporting or leading compliance audits required.
- Proficient in Yardi and MS Office Suite.
- Exceptional attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and regulatory interpretation.
- Strong communication skills and ability to mentor site staff on compliance procedures.
- Must be willing to travel 35‑50%.
