Job Title: Accounts Payable (A/P) Manager
Location: Houston, TX – Onsite 3 days, remote 2 days per week

Position Summary:
We are seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to oversee the full-cycle accounts payable function. The A/P Manager will lead the team responsible for invoice processing, vendor management, payment execution, and month-end close. This role will drive process improvements, ensure internal controls are met, and support financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the daily operations of the Accounts Payable teamOversee timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, PO matching, and payment runsEnsure compliance with internal policies, tax regulations, and contractual obligationsMaintain vendor relationships, resolve escalated issues, and oversee vendor onboarding and compliance (W-9s, 1099s)Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and A/P accrualsManage A/P reporting, metrics, and month-end close processesDrive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and system enhancementsCollaborate with Procurement, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure accurate and timely expense recognitionServe as the subject matter expert for the Workday A/P module; support configuration and system updates as neededSupport internal and external audits, including SOX compliance and audit documentationQualifications:
5+ years of progressive accounts payable experience1+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial roleDeep knowledge of A/P best practices, vendor compliance, and financial controlsProven experience managing a high-volume, multi-entity A/P environmentNice to Have:
Workday Financials experience strongly preferredPrior experience in maritime, logistics, or government contracting environments is a plus#J-18808-Ljbffr
