We are a busy, well-established independent auto repair shop seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our service department. This is a leadership role responsible for service advisors, ticket flow, communication, parts oversight, and daily shop performance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage service advisors.
- Oversee repair orders from write-up to completion.
- Track daily sales, ARO, hours sold, and WIP.
- Improve closing ratio and follow-up.
- Monitor Accounts Receivable and open tickets.
- Oversee parts ordering and inventory.
- Enforce customer communication standards.
- Resolve customer concerns.
- Conduct daily huddles with shop foreman.
- 3+ years in automotive service management or senior advisor role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to operate independently.
- Experience with shop management software preferred.
