The CEO/ Executive Director is for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the general focus for the organization. Other responsibilities will include quality assurance monitoring, review of reports, supervision, managing senior staff, directing staff to achieve program and organizational objectives, and taking appropriate action to achieve desired objectives and goals. The CEO/ Executive Director will develop strategies and vision for the organization to follow toward a common goal.
Responsibilities- Review and oversee the coordination and administration of organizational operations;
- Oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures that are compliant with licensing agency regulations and the funding sources;
- Establish and maintain working and collaborative relationships with community resources and other organizations;
- Oversee the quality assurance program self-monitoring plan. The quality assurance self-monitoring plan will include ongoing record audits, monitoring of program effectiveness, and client satisfaction, etc.
- Take appropriate corrective and disciplinary action as required;
- Develop effective strategies to meet organizational and program goals/objectives, take appropriate corrective action as needed;
- Review the maintenance of thorough and complete records of the program services and activities;
- Review and submit program reports as required on a timely basis;
- Participate in and adhere to the agency procedure for screening, interviewing, and hiring staff;
- Provide supervision to senior staff;
- Review the maintenance of accurate records of donations and compilation monthly reports;
- Assign duties to additional staff as needed for the total operations of the organization.
- Display professional behavior and appearance in accordance with Agency policy;
- Handle difficult situations in a discreet manner;
- Maintain confidentiality regarding organization information
- Undergraduate degree in management or other business administration tracts and two successful work experiences that include supervision and program self monitoring or sixty hours of college coursework and four years successful work experience that include supervision and program self-monitoring;
- Outstanding organizational, verbal, and written communication skills;
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and changing environment;
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse community groups.
