Community Manager/General Manager
A high-profile, master-planned community in the North Houston region is seeking a dynamic, hospitality-focused Community Manager/General Manager to oversee its premier residential, club, and food & beverage operations. This rapidly expanding development offers a sophisticated, resort-style environment featuring high-end amenities, private club dining, and gate operations. Position Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive executive leadership across all community association operations, food and beverage, security/gate operations, and lifestyle amenities.
- Direct and mentor department leaders—including the Assistant Community Manager and Food & Beverage Manager—ensuring high operational standards and service excellence.
- Oversee financial performance, including budget preparation, expense tracking, and foundation association financials.
- Collaborate closely with community developers and leadership to establish operational structures, execute long-term strategic plans, and bring new luxury amenities online.
- Drive high-touch resident engagement, maintaining a high standard of hospitality and service delivery across all community touchpoints.
Position Requirements
- Demonstrated track record of leadership in large-scale master-planned communities, private country clubs, luxury resorts, or high-end residential operations.
- Strong expertise in either food & beverage/club management or community association management, with the operational breadth to oversee both functions.
- Proven experience managing operational budgets, staff performance, and vendor contracts.
- Outstanding communication skills with a track record of successfully partnering with executive stakeholders or property developers.
- Relevant industry credentials (e.G., PCAM, CMCA, AMS) are preferred but not required for candidates with extensive private club or hospitality leadership.
Compensation Package Details
- Base Salary: $100,000 –$135,000 annually (commensurate with experience, with flexibility up to $150,000 for exceptional backgrounds).
- Annual Manager Incentive Bonus Plan (3% base target).
