Leads and supervises Senior Project Manager and Project Manager in daily work activities within the Health Care System Engineering PMO office; assists Director with program assignments and monitors project resource allocation to achieve strategic system goals; coordinates, oversees, and/or collaborates on assigned projects (i.e. routine, strategic, Facilities Architectural and Engineering) ensuring compliance with Harris County Purchasing Policies, Corporate Compliance, Information Security Guidelines, Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) policies, codes/licensing, state, and other applicable Harris Health System policies.

Fifty percent of duties shall be the execution of assigned projects per departmental requirements; leads project management process through project initiation, funding, programming, requirements identification, design, furniture, fixture & Equipment (FF&E) selection, procurement, pricing/purchasing, construction, and project closeout. Manage internal and external relationships through effective communication. Leads and participates in a collaborative team environment to achieve best possible outcomes. Demonstrates a high quality work ethic by exhibiting professional attitude, honesty and integrity.

Degrees:

• Bachelor's Degree in Management, Business, Science, Construction Management, and/or Engineering or equivalent.

Licensed/

Certifications:

• PMP (Project Management Professional) from PMI preferred

Work Experience:

• 8 Years of experience in Healthcare-Design/Construction related field & Project Management.
• Experience managing technically complex projects, large projects
