The Clearlake Branch of Meador Staffing has partnered with a local Manufacturing company to bring a Quality Technician to their team!
Responsibilities- Works under close direction of senior personnel in the functional area
- Correctly uses all basic inspection tools such as micrometer, caliper, pin, and thread gages
- Interprets sales and manufacturing drawings
- Inspects parts, assemblies, documentation, and inspection tools to determine compliance to specified requirements
- Hardness testing
- Tensile testing
- Charpy impact testing
- Follows standard procedures and work instructions
- Basic understanding of ASME / ASTM / IFI and basic industry standards preferred
- Can work without close supervision
- Performs daily cleaning of equipment and surrounding areas
- Follows safety procedures and/or other standard operating procedures
- Understanding of API 20E requirements preferred
- Understanding of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 / API Q1) preferred
- Uses ERP software to update work orders with regards to labor and quantity
- Other duties as assigned by department leads or management
- Duties may include but are not limited to deburr, cleaning, glass bead, marking, testing, packaging
- 2+ years of Quality Technician or related experience
- Computer skills (MS Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel) and experience in ERP systems preferred
- Ability to read, count accurately, and perform basic math
- Detail oriented
- High school diploma or GED required
$17-$19 per hour
HoursMonday-Friday 8am-5pm
