The Analyzer Technician position is an excellent opportunity for someone that wants to be a part of a collaborative, team culture and grow their career. Job Duties and Responsibilities- Perform inspection and repairs on Process analyzers and Sample systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance on all types of process analyzers.
- Capable of reading and understanding P&’S, PFD’S, and perform maintenance tasks using instrument loop sheets.
- Responsible for emergency call-out and rotating weekly on-call duty
- Always maintain and promote a safe work environment and follow Safe Work Practices established by TPC Group
- Maintain electronic and paper documentation for Preventive Maintenance, Mechanical Integrity tasks, and regulatory required calibrations. Requires strong relationship and frequent communications with the Environmental Team
- Use of all types of testing equipment
- Responsible for Preventive Maintenance on Gas Chromatographs (GC)
- Responsible for troubleshooting and repair of (GC) Siemens Maxum II, Applied Automation (Advanced Opti-Chrom) and Yokogawa GC1000 Mark II analyzers.
- Responsible for maintaining Continuous Emissions Monitor System (CEMS)
Analyzer maintenance, calibration, and repair. Teledyne, ABB, COSA, etc. - Calibration, repair, and maintenance of analytical instruments like O2, CO and Moisture analyzers
- Associate degree in Instrumentation Technology/ Analytical Instrumentation Technology AND 2 years’ experience OR a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the maintenance of petrochemical analytical equipment AND a high school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge and experience with troubleshooting and repair of all types of analytical instrumentation equipment
- Good communication skills, written and verbal.
- Ability to consult with 3rd Party Support to resolve analytical equipment concerns, performance, or maintenance issues
- Ability to work independently or within a group and collaborate with other departments supporting capital projects.
- Must live within reasonable commuting distance as company assisted relocation is not available for this position.
