Immediate opportunity for a Core Technician with a leading, multi‑national cell and gene therapy company at one of the world’s largest dedicated cell and gene therapies manufacturing facilities located in Houston, TX.

9:00 – 17:00 |

Education:

High School.

• Participate in the Environmental Monitoring process as part of GMP production of viral therapies.
• Perform cell culture and product purification using aseptic techniques when required.
• Coordinate EM equipment needs with the QC EM team during manufacturing processes.
• Draft, complete, and revise manufacturing documents including Batch Records and EM forms.
• Prepare buffers and components, operating steam autoclave as necessary.
• Operate manual, semi‑automated, and automated equipment in support of routine clinical production.
• Operate environmental monitoring equipment such as Solairs, ApexZ
  50, and active counters.

• Required:
  
  Bachelors degree (BS) in any Science field with a minimum of 1 year of lab experience.
• High school diploma with a minimum of 3 years of lab experience.
• Ability to work day shift 7:00‑19:30 on a 12‑hour rotating shift schedule (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 3 days off).
• Must be available to train on the first shift, 5 days a week for the first 4‑6 weeks.

• At least 1 year of lab experience within a cGMP production environment.
