Join our team as an experienced Machine Operator managing production equipment including fillers, case packers, capers, case sealers, palletizers and labelers. The scope of this role is to ensure the efficient and accurate filing of products into containers, adhering to specific volume and weight requirements, and maintain the highest standards of quality and filler operator works with the packaging end of a production line.
The filler operator also operates filling machines and makes the necessary adjustments to ensure consistency. This is a 3 rd shift position, 10:00pm‑6:30am Monday‑Friday and overtime on Saturdays as required. The pay is $22/hr.
- Operate various high speed liquid filling machinery including but not limited to fillers, labelers, cappers, palletizers, depalletizers, case erectors, and heat induction sealers.
- Examine and act on production orders to determine quantities to be manufactured, job specifications and or special instructions.
- Maintain time and production records.
- Maintain quality standards.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting on the assigned equipment and perform minor equipment adjustments and changeovers.
- Follow Safety /GMP guidelines.
- Comply with PPE, Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, Safety Standards, and follow all plant policies and procedures.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- 1 or more years of experience in machine operating / Filling required.
- Experience working with Chemicals is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Production knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and other techniques for effective manufacturing preferred.
- Must be able to verbally communicate, read and write in English.
- Basic mathematics skills required.
- Must be able to take direction and work unsupervised.
