Production Supervisor

Job Summary
The 1st Shift Production Supervisor oversees daily production operations within an industrial printing facility, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity goals are met. This role leads production teams during first shift operations, supports workflow efficiency, and collaborates with quality and operations leadership to meet customer and delivery commitments in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Details
1st

Shift: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday–Friday
Flexibility required to work weekends as needed
Busy Season (January–March): 7–10 end of month

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate first shift production activities to ensure output, quality, and schedule adherence.

Lead, coach, and develop production staff, promoting accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

Monitor production metrics, identify performance gaps, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.

Collaborate with quality, maintenance, and planning teams to resolve production issues and support operational goals.

Maintain compliance with safety policies, standard operating procedures, and company expectations.

Qualifications

3–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, production, or industrial printing environments.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage high-volume production.

Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to work extended hours during peak demand periods.
