This is a full-time position, 8 or 10-hour shifts available

Works from drawings and written instructions to create parts.

Measure, mark, and otherwise indicate the dimensions and reference points on the part or material to be used as guides for subsequent machining.

Set up, operate, and troubleshoot computer‑controlled machines to perform one or more machine functions.

Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out‑of‑tolerance machining and adjust machine controls or control media as required.

Implement changes to machine programs and enter new specifications, using computers separate from machines.

Requires basic knowledge of various metal and measurements used in machining processes to provide technical leadership and assist in training less experienced machinists.

Clean and lubricate machines, tools, and other work equipment to ensure efficient operation and prevent damage.

High School Diploma or GED

3-5 years experience in the machinist field

Understanding of CNC machine logic, able to write basic programs, post‑edit CNC programs to fine‑tune processes for optimal performance, and is able to read, find errors, and troubleshoot programs.

Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and blueprints.

Ability to write and/or complete routine reports.

Ability to work under a minimum of supervision.
