Parts Washer Overview

Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Parts Washer; responsible for cleaning, degreasing, and preparing metal and mechanical parts for inspection, assembly, or shipment. This role ensures that parts meet cleanliness standards by using various cleaning methods and equipment.
- Clean and degrease parts using cleaning solutions, pressure washers, ultrasonic cleaners, or other equipment.
- Inspect parts before and after cleaning to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Operate and maintain washing equipment, including checking fluid levels and replacing solvents or detergents as needed.
- Handle parts carefully to prevent damage or contamination.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety and environmental regulations.
- Properly label, store, or return cleaned parts for further processing.
- Dispose of waste materials and used solvents according to company policies and environmental regulations.
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks or other duties as assigned by supervisors.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or mechanical environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with basic mechanical parts and tools.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
