Sandblaster HTB

We are seeking an experienced Sandblaster with a stable work history and hands-on experience working in a production-based shop environment. This position requires previous sandblasting experience in a walk-in blast booth, along with the ability to safely operate overhead cranes, read blueprints, and accurately read and use a tape measure.

The ideal candidate is dependable, highly motivated, adaptable to changing production demands, and willing to work additional hours when required.

• $19.00-$22.00/hour
• Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
• Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm
• Located in Houston, Texas

• Perform sandblasting operations in a walk-in blast booth within a production-based shop environment
• Prepare and blast parts/materials according to production requirements and specifications
• Safely operate overhead cranes to move and position materials
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
• Accurately read and use a tape measure throughout the workday
• Inspect work to ensure required specifications and quality standards are met
• Follow all established safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Adapt to changing workloads and production demands
• Work overtime and weekends as required, including on short notice

• Previous sandblasting experience is required, specifically working with a sandblaster in a walk-in booth
• Production-based shop experience is required
• Experience operating overhead cranes
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Must be able to accurately read and use a tape measure
• Stable work history with no significant unexplained employment gaps or frequent job hopping
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Must be flexible and available for overtime and weekend work when needed
