We are hiring an experienced CNC Machinist / Programmer who can both program and operate CNC mills and lathes
.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on machining experience and be comfortable taking a job from programming and setup through production and inspection.
Responsibilities- Program and operate CNC mills and CNC lathes
- Set up machines, tooling, work holding, and offsets
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Edit and adjust CNC programs as needed
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and programming issues
- Maintain quality and production standards
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience
- 5+ years of experience programming and operating CNC mills and lathes
- Strong understanding of CNC setup, tooling, feeds, speeds, and offsets
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T
- Ability to troubleshoot machining and programming issues
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Able to work independently and meet production requirements
- $30.00 - $35.00/hour
, depending on experience - Full-time position
- 40+ hours per week
