CSAT Solutions is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of a Computer Repair Technician. This position will require the candidate to have some knowledge of computer components.
Role And Responsibilities- Disassembles machines to examine parts, for wear or defects, using hand or power tools and measuring devices
- Repairs, adjusts, or replaces electrical or mechanical components or parts, using hand tools, or power tools as requested by technician
- Installs and configures new equipment, including operating software or peripheral equipment
- Reassembles machines after making repairs or replacing parts
- Identifies cosmetics defects and communicates any discrepancies to technician
- Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department
- May perform other duties as assigned
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Basic familiarity with computer use required
- Intermediate knowledge of computer hardware
- 1 year of assembly/disassembly experience preferred with laptop, computer and/or technology component repair, preferred
- Experience using hand power tools preferred
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methods preferred
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with close supervision
- Intermediate English abilities required
- Ability to follow documented procedures, standards and policies
- Excellent time-management skills
- Warehouse environment (may not be climate-controlled)
- Lift/carry up to 20 lbs.
- Push/pull up to 10 lbs.
- Frequent sitting, bending, and twisting
- Occasional stooping or crouching
- Use of small hand tools
