PREOP/PACU REGISTERED NURSE at United Surgical Partners International, Inc

Carondelet Foothills Surgery Center is hiring a Pre Op/PACU Registered Nurse. We combine advanced outpatient care with a personal touch. Our physician‑owned, accredited facility features five state‑of‑the‑art operating rooms and supports specialties such as ENT, orthopedics, urology, and more. We are a close‑knit team committed to patient‑centered care, clear communication, and professional excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients in the Pre‑Op/PACU unit.
• Continuously evaluate the patient’s condition, ensuring safety, comfort, and privacy.
• Assist physicians in the procedure rooms with tasks such as conscious sedation and the use of sterile techniques as required.
• Deliver comprehensive patient care for patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Prepare patients and families for discharge, coordinating follow‑up care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by the center.
• Preferred 2+ years of experience in PACU or Critical Care.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Strong ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet patient and unit needs.
