USPI Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Greater Heights is a facility with 5 OR rooms and 3 treatment rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in ENT, General, GI, GYN, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry, and Urology. The position requires Monday‑Friday availability with occasional early mornings and late evenings. Weekdays only – no holidays, weekends, or call.

The OR Registered Nurse is responsible for nursing activities related to the care of patients undergoing operative or other invasive procedures. Responsibilities include caring for adult patients (including older adults and the geriatric population) and pediatric patients from 1 month through adolescence. The scope of service includes gastroenterology, orthopedics, podiatry, ENT, urology, pain management, ophthalmology, and general surgery.

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Minimum two years of previous OR experience.
• Current Texas license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS certification.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
• Ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and employees.
• Knowledgeable of policies and procedures specific to operating room nursing.
