OperatingRoom Circulator
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Operating Room Circulator to join our surgical team. The OR Circulator will be responsible for providing nursing care and services during surgical procedures, including patient positioning, preparation, and circulating duties. Experience in various surgical specialties is preferred.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to post‑surgical patients in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Monitor patient recovery, assess vital signs, and recognize any signs of complications.
- Administer medications, including pain management, per physician orders.
- Educate patients and their families on post‑surgical care, discharge instructions, and recovery expectations.
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and responses to treatment.
- Ensure compliance with all infection control and safety protocols.
- Assist in emergency situations, demonstrating critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families throughout the recovery process.

- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (RN).
- Active and unrestricted RN license in the State of Texas.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS if applicable to patient population.
- Experience in an operating room setting is required.
- Experience in various surgical specialties is a plus.
