Job Description

The Registered Nurse Coordinator is responsible for providing direct nursing care by applying clinical nursing knowledge and skills, and for ensuring the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational and professional standards. As a coordinator, he or she will provide team leadership to enhance the station or unit flow and functioning.

$81,646 - $100,857 (Pay is based on several factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, certifications, etc.)

  • Required:
    
    Graduate from an approved RN nursing program
  • Preferred:
    Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience
  • Required:
    
    2 year in a clinical area related to assigned department.
  • Preferred:
    Two years of ambulatory care
  • Prior supervisory experience
• License(s)
  • Required:
    
    Valid and current Texas RN license
  • Preferred: N/A
• Special Skills
  • Required:
    
    Able to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population and for CPR, oxygen administration and intravenous therapy. CRT experience.
  • Preferred:
    Specialty nursing certification appropriate to specialty area assigned. Windows-based computer skills.

    Current BCLS through American Heart Association
  • Experience leading a team
  • Preferred: ACLS
