Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Full-Time Nights (Direct Hire)

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a direct-hire, full-time night shift opportunity at a Level IV Maternal Designated Facility in Houston, TX. This is a high-acuity Labor & Delivery unit supporting approximately 400–450 deliveries per month, offering a collaborative and supportive environment with opportunities for professional growth.

• Full-Time, Night Shift Only
• Level IV Maternal Care Facility
• Unit includes: 12 labor beds, 19 antepartum beds, 4 swing beds

• Active Texas RN license or active multi-state compact RN license (clear of disciplinary actions)
• BSN required
• 3–5 years of acute care Labor & Delivery experience required
• (No ADN, no new graduates – non-negotiable)
• BLS certification required
• Must be available to work full-time night shifts exclusively

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care based on patient age and clinical needs
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to plan and coordinate patient care
• Perform assessments, assist with exams and treatments, provide patient education, and maintain medical records
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and patient-centered outcome evaluations
• Adhere to Texas Board of Nursing standards and organizational policies
• Support professional development, continuing education, and serve as a mentor or resource when needed
