Gastro Doxs is a well-established practice in the Northwest Houston suburbs of Cypress, and Katy. We are a 6-clinician team and we are looking to rapidly expand our clinical team at this time. Gastro Doxs strives to help patients in the Greater Houston area find relief from a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions. We are a comprehensive patient-centered community GI practice model. We accomplish this while keeping the staff & providers overall wellness in mind. We try to understand the challenges of navigating the healthcare environment from the patient's perspective as well as the staff's perspective & have tailored the practice to offer the most flexibility to our patients as possible. As a practice, our mission is to have a "can-do" attitude, where we try our best to help the patients while keeping the needs of the doctors, physician assistants, nurse practitioners & staff in mind.

This is the philosophy that has allowed the practice to flourish through the years.

We are looking for full-time Family Nurse Practitioner clinic work or a full-time Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to help with inpatient hospital work. Clinic work includes intake of the patient's medical history, & working closely with the Gastroenterologist in the practice to formulate an assessment & plan to best help the patient's needs. Hospital work includes seeing any new patient consultations & rounding on any follow-up patients that have been admitted to the hospital.

In due time, the FNP or ACNP will be allowed to also see patients on their own with the support of the Gastroenterologists in the practice. We offer extensive training to our PAs and support them throughout the training period and beyond.

We are a team-based practice, continually striving to look at how we can efficiently & effectively serve the needs of the patients in our communities. We do not just see patients, we serve the healthcare needs of the community in a comprehensive patient-centered community GI practice model. We have several providers currently & are looking to expand the team immediately.

It is an exciting opportunity to join a very busy & established yet growing practice in the NW area of Houston, specifically serving the areas of Cypress & Katy at this time. We are adding several innovative aspects to the practice, so there will also be opportunities to expand the provider's skills & knowledge base in wellness, research & other areas.

The practice as a whole is on a growth-based trajectory, so we see a great opportunity to not only join the practice but grow with the practice well into the future. This position is for immediate hire! We offer a generous base salary of $100K+ (DOE), a 401K plan, paid malpractice insurance, paid time off, a CME stipend, health care coverage, and a longevity-based bonus structure.

This position is open to Family Nurse Practitioners or Acute Care Nurse Practitioners with work experience and new graduates!
