Position: RN CONTRACTOR - AUSTIN, TX
Seeking full time Registered Nurses for long term employment in a psychiatric hospital setting in the AUSTIN, TX AREA.

Candidates we select will be needed for at least 6 months, possibly longer, as long as there are no performance issues. There is an intensive time commitment to training, so we prefer a candidate who can make a long term commitment, until permanent placements for these positions are found.

All potential candidates must have a Texas license or a multistate license, with the privilege to practice in their home state and in other eNLC states. In addition, they must have a minimum of 1 year of RN experience and may not have any stipulations on their license.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The RN I works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager to provide routine care and treatment through the application of the nursing process. Is responsible for maintaining nursing standards of practice in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, the Texas Administrative Codes and other facility policies, procedures and standards. Communicates and collaborates with other shift RN's to ensure 24-hour continuity of care.

Ensures adequate staffing according to the program specific staffing plan; determines staff assignments based of appropriate knowledge and skill to meet individual patient needs.
