Compensation

Base pay in range will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience. Role is also eligible for team‑based bonus opportunities. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company 401(k) program.

Qualifications
  • Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Long‑term care experience preferred.
  • Valid and current state (RN) license issued by the appropriate state licensing agency.
  • Leadership experience and ability to manage staff schedules, performance, and professional development.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record systems and long‑term care assessment software.
Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director of Clinical Services in planning, organizing, developing, and directing day‑to‑day operations of the Clinical Services department in accordance with federal, state, and local standards.
  • Develop and maintain nursing documentation systems; coordinate care plans for each resident; oversee day‑to‑day care to ensure care plans are followed.
  • Provide direct clinical leadership, including education and guidance to nursing staff on clinical systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation by nursing service personnel and direct staff.
  • Monitor medication and treatment schedules; work with attending physicians; provide direct care when required.
  • Coordinate with ancillary services and compile MDS data for state reporting.
  • Collaborate with other team members to establish appropriate level of care in accordance with Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement levels.
  • Implement and oversee the facility’s Infection Prevention and Control Program, including surveillance, outbreak investigation, and education.
  • Lead staff development programs, staffing needs assessments, and scheduling of duty hours.
  • Review complaints and grievances filed by personnel and/or residents; investigate all allegations of abuse and/or misappropriation of resident property.
  • Assist in implementation of policies and procedures to support optimal associate compliance, infection prevention, and resident safety in adherence to OSHA regulations and infection control standards.
  • Participate in developing and implementing safety standards and regulations for equipment, supplies, and resident care rooms.
  • Maintain compliance with regulations and guidelines; ensure staff compliance with regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
