Nurse Navigator - Oncology -Nutritional Services

Responsibilities

The Oncology Nurse Navigator will serve as a single point of contact for oncology patients, their caregivers and referring physicians to assist is accessing clinical and supportive services across the continuum of oncology care. He/she will facilitate patient appointments, including diagnostics, specialty services and consults, as well as offering educational and emotional support.

Salary Range: $89,019 - $109,964 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in nursing or one to one: substitute years of supervisory/management administrative experience (4 years).

Preferred: N/A

Required:

2+ years clinical RN experience

2+ years Oncology experience

Preferred: N/A

Required:

Current RN license or valid permit to practice professional nursing in Texas

Preferred: N/A

Required:

BLS through American Heart Assoc. ONC certification or obtain with in 12 months of hire.

Preferred: N/A

Required:

Able to use equipment and related suppliers for a selected patient population.

Able to use mechanical devices, such as those used in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, oxygen administration, and intravenous therapy.
